Angela Fraser DL (Banstead East);

Angela was first elected to Surrey County Council in May 1981 as the Member for Epsom & Ewell North East, serving until May 1985, and she was then elected as the Member for Banstead East in May 1989.

During her time on the County Council she has served on the Executive, been a Member of Surrey Police Authority and was Chairman of the County Council between 2007 and 2009. At present she is Chairman of the Reigate & Banstead Local Committee.

She was also Mayor of Reigate & Banstead in 1988/89, having been a Member of the Borough Council between May 1979 and May 2000.

In 1996 she was also made a Deputy Lieutenant.
