David Harmer (Waverley Western Villages);

David has been a Member of Surrey County Council since May 2005 and prior to the 2009 elections was vice-Chairman of the Executive where he held the Environment portfolio. Prior to that he held the portfolio for Resources.

He was a Member of Waverley Borough Council from May 1999 until May 2007, and was Leader of the Borough between May 2001 and May 2003. He was previously also a Member of Bedfordshire County Council.

He currently serves as a County Member on the Surrey Police Authority.
