Peter Martin (Godalming South, Milford & Witley);

Peter has been a Member of Surrey County Council since September 2005 when he won two by-elections and was also elected to Waverley Borough Council representing the Godalming Holloway Ward.

He has also been a Member of Godalming Town Council since 1991 and was Mayor of Godalming in 2005/6.

He was appointed to the County's Executive Committee in May 2007, and having held the Environment portfolio for a year he is now the Cabinet Member for Children & Learning.
