Andrew Povey (Waverley Eastern Villages);

Andrew is Leader of Surrey County Council having been elected to that position following the Conservative victory in the June 2009 elections.

He has been a Member of Surrey County Council since May 1993 and has previously been vice-Chairman of the Surrey Police Authority, Chairman of the Education Committee, Executive Member for Education and Chairman of the Waverley Local Committee.
